Summer Vacations

Now that we are in the middle of summer vacation.  Only a month left until school starts again!  How have you spent the summer with your child(ren)?My daughter and I took a road trip to Bull Shoals, AR to vacation for the week with our mid-west family from Oklahoma.  We had a blast!  We went canoeing, swimming in a fun lake and fishing.  We also went to the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum in Missouri as well as the Norfork Fish Hatchery.  The Wilder museum was SO interesting!  We had so much fun…See More

My apologies and Blog Post Tolerance levels

I didn't see until recently the three or four posts for that prescription ad... I am going to post here now that I do have a low tolerance for spam advertising. I will not allow it to be inflicted upon my members and it will be deleted. I was hoping to keep this board to where anyone can post, but if the spamming continues, this will be changed to members only.I do not mind the members posting the occasional post advertising their business or blog, but spamming the board will be restricted.I…See More

Mornings are SO rough!

I honestly and truly LOVE my daughter.  She is the light of my life and the reason I wake up in the morning.  However, the mornings are SO bad!  She doesn't get her medicine until about 7 am and takes approximately 45 mins to kick in.  Oh man, it is horrible in some mornings.  If I can divert her from losing focus, we have a relatively good morning.  However, if she refuses to get off track of losing focus, we end up in a yelling match.Then of course there are the evenings when the pill wears…See More
